The team of the REACT Project has organized a series of open lectures in Schools and Universities in different cities in Albania with main focus to transmit to the students the culture of protecting the environment and become climate ambassadors.

During these open lectures the students had the opportunity to discuss the negative effects of climate change in Albania, and worldwide. They also discussed how to use art and culture to raise awareness within their communities about climate change prevention and resilience.

The main goal of the raising awareness activities at schools is to empower and equip youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to assist vulnerable communities, such as the Roma minority in Albania and Miglionico in Italy, in mitigating the adverse impacts of climate change.

More than 120 students from Fier, Elbasan, Tirana and Durres participated in the open lecture.
