It is officially opened the Call for Young Artists to participate in the Climate Change Resilience Contest and Exhibition in Albania
As part of the REACT Project, the Institute of Romani Culture in Albania (IRCA) is launching the Climate Change Resilience Contest for young artists who want to share their artworks on the theme of fostering climate change resilience for vulnerable communities. The young artists that will send the artworks will be directly considered as participants of the contest.
Who can participate?
If you are between 15 and 30 years old, you share a passion for art and you want to support the climate change resilience through art, then this contest is your chance to use your creativity for a good cause. You don’t need to be a professional artist.
How does it work?
You are free to create any form of art (painting, photography, drawing, sculpting, digital photography, illustration, video, design, and craft) and you can send as many creations as you like.
To enter the competition, you must send the following:
- Personal motivation to participate (1,000 characters maximum)
- Short Bio (1,000 characters maximum)
- Artwork Submission (3 images in jpeg format for any artwork)
- Send the dimensions of the artwork:
- Provide a description for the artwork (1,000 characters maximum)
All the submitted artworks will be exhibited in the exhibition that will be organized on July 31th.
How will the artworks be judged?
Starting from July 10th to July 30th, it will be opened an online form where everyone can vote their favorite artwork.
The winners will be proclaimed in the exhibition event on July 31th.
What is the reward?
- 1 prize – 100 EUR
- 2 prize – 80 EUR
- 3 prize – 50 EUR
When is the deadline?
